Site specific installation at International Waters, Bushwick NY.
I produced a 34 foot model of the Washington Monument that lies on its side. Falling down the sloping floor of the gallery, the obelisk is hollow. Inside the monument, a two-channel video of my father and daughter plays. The videos show them having a conversation about beginnings, middles, and endings. My father sits in a plastic box while my daughter sits in a bathtub. Between them is a small fish tank with two jellyfish inside.
